Growing Talent. Growing Baltimore. A Community Conversation on Workforce & Opportunity - Panelist Registration.
Baltimore has talent. The question is: how do we keep it here?
Per Scholas Baltimore is excited to host our 2nd Annual Community Conversation on the State of Hiring in Baltimore, bringing together employers, workforce development leaders, educational institutions, community organizations, and economic development partners for an open and honest discussion about Baltimore’s employment ecosystem — the successes, the challenges, and the opportunities ahead.
This year’s theme, “Keeping Baltimore Talent Home,” will focus on education, employer partnerships, workforce retention, and economic opportunity. Together, we hope to explore how organizations across Baltimore can collaborate more effectively to create sustainable career pathways and strengthen the city’s workforce ecosystem.
As part of this conversation, we are inviting select employer and community partners to serve as panelists and help shape the discussion through their expertise, experience, and industry insight.
From an employer perspective, the conversation will center around:
Current hiring trends and workforce challenges
The technical and professional skills most in demand
Talent retention and pipeline development
Opportunities for stronger collaboration between employers, educators, and workforce organizations
Given your organization’s leadership and impact within the community, we believe your perspective would add tremendous value to this discussion. Participating as a panelist would provide an opportunity to:
Share your expertise and thought leadership with a diverse audience
Help influence workforce alignment efforts and talent development strategies
Strengthen visibility and engagement with emerging talent pipelines
Deepen connections with regional employers, educators, and workforce partners
Last year’s event created meaningful dialogue, valuable networking opportunities, and stronger partnerships across organizations throughout Baltimore. We are excited to continue building on that momentum this year.
