About World Manufacturing Convention
The 9th World Manufacturing Convention (WMC) will be held in Hefei, the capital city of Anhui Province from 20- 23 September 2026, the Convention approved by the State Council, is the most important annual advanced Manufacturing Expo in China since September 2018.
The Convention is jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the China Association for Small and Medium Enterprises, the Global Alliance of SMEs, and the People’s Government of Anhui Province.
The Convention spans an expansive 80,000 m² exhibition space showcasing China’s advanced manufacturing achievements, features over 60 major events, including the opening ceremony, industrial trade and investment forums, and project matchmaking opportunities, etc.
