Elevator Pitch Workshop: Option 1
"So, tell me a bit about yourself."
It's the first question in almost every interview, the one you get at every career fair, and the one that comes up the moment someone asks what you are studying. Most students freeze, ramble, or recite their major and go quiet.
Your elevator pitch is the fix - a short, honest narrative about who you are and where you are headed, ready before you need it.
In one hour we will build yours using the framework from our Interview Guide: past, present, future. Where you have been and what it taught you. What you are doing now. What you want next, and why this conversation matters to you.
We will also cover what makes a pitch land - being genuine rather than saying what people want to hear, being specific enough that someone can actually help you, and forming a real connection instead of delivering a perfect answer.
You will leave having written it, said it out loud, and revised it at least once.
Bring a notebook. Come ready to talk.
