Rahvaste Lugude õhtu

Tallinn on täis rääkimata lugusid ja 6. juunil anname me jutuvestjatele mikrofoni. Oleme kutsunud lavale 13 eri taustaga inimest üle maailma: Burjaatiast ja Udmurtiast Iraani, Mehhiko ja Pakistanini—kes kõik kutsuvad täna Tallinna oma koduks. See ei ole etendus ega loeng, vaid ehedad ja filtrita lood sellest, kuidas nad siia jõudsid, miks nad jäid ja kuidas see teekond neid muutis.
Saad kuulda lugu süürlasest, kes jättis sõja tõttu seljataha kõik ning leidis ootamatult hingerahu maailma paigast, kuhu ta alguses vaadatagi ei osanud. Oma teekonda jagab ka tšuvašš, kes kasvas üles eri keelte keskel oma juurtele mõtlemata, kuni taipas ühel päeval, et tema laste tulevik sõltub keelest, mille ta ise oli peaaegu unustanud. Lisaks kuuled Mehhiko arstist, kelle karjäär murdus ühe hetkega ning kelle edasine tee viis ta läbi Iirimaa Tallinnasse, eluni, mida ta ei planeerinud, kuid millest ta enam ei loobuks.

Tallinn is full of people with something to say, and on June 6th, we’re finally giving them the microphone. We’ve invited 13 people from across the world: from Buryatia and Udmurtia to Iran, Mexico, and Pakistan, who all call this city home. This isn’t a performance or a lecture; it’s just real people sharing the stories of how they got here, why they stayed, and how they changed along the way.
You’ll hear from a Syrian man who left everything behind during the civil war and found a sense of belonging in a corner of the world he never expected. You’ll meet a Chuvash man who grew up between languages, never thinking much of his roots until the moment he realized his children’s future depended on a language he had almost forgotten. There’s also the story of a Mexican doctor whose career path shattered in an instant, leading him on a journey through Ireland to Estonia—toward a life he never planned, but now wouldn’t trade for anything.
