Public Speakers Hour

​Public speaking and story telling are one of the great super powers we can develop in ourselves. Yet it is one of the things people fear most. This hour is your opportunity to get in front of a crowd and tell a story, give a tech talk, or any other form of pubic speaking. This way you can get better at this!

Potential topics:
- your startup pitch
- what technology are you passionate about?
- what do you think about exponential technology?
- explaining some concept
- explain some new technology or art
- standup comedy
- your life story
- what you're hoping to achieve in Network School

The format is simple are: 5 minute talk then 2 minutes question and answer with the crowd.

We will start sharp at 8PM and keep a timer of all the talks.

In total we will have 5 spots open plus myself going first.

A powerful method to improve your public speaking skills was shared at yesterdays workshop on "Storytelling/Pitching" by Rich - to record your public speaking, then watch your video without sound, then listen to the sound without the video, and then transcribe the text and read the text. This can give you better insights and feedback on how to improve and may be something you want to do here.
