I can't stress this more. Burnout never screams: "Hello, I am here, do something!" Rather it manifests in different areas of life, slowly sucking energy and joy from day to day life. This talk will get deeply personal, as I will share my own experience with burnout. My breath was a great ally in my story, helping me identify no longer ignorable need for major shifts in my personal and professional life.

"Coming Out, Standing Out: Building a Business Around Who You Are"
As co-owner of social media agency Hashtag Junkies, I used to believe authenticity was a risk in business, something to manage carefully, especially online. This talk is about the moment I realized the opposite was true, and how building a company that doesn't ask people to hide who they are became both a personal turning point and a business strategy. Expect a personal story about visibility, vulnerability, and what it really takes to show up as yourself, on stage, online, and in business.
🚀This time we will have a panel discussion with Petra and Martin PLUS Kateryna Khyzhnyak, board member of our partner Kwitne Queer.
Kateryna Khyzhniak is an interpreter, language coach, job coach, peer counselor, and board member of Kwitne Queer e. V. She is also a community builder supporting queer Ukrainian refugees in Germany. A particular focus of her work is supporting effective communication in situations where it can significantly affect a person’s integration process: during medical appointments, meetings at the Jobcenter, and other encounters with public institutions. By combining language support, peer counseling, and community-based projects, she helps queer refugees navigate Germany’s often complex bureaucratic system with more confidence and independence.
