India is set to add over 100 million people to its workforce this decade, yet the future of work is evolving faster than the systems designed to prepare people for it. AI is reshaping entry-level jobs, the green economy is creating new opportunities, and entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly critical to livelihoods. Yet millions remain disconnected from the skills, market access, financing, and employment pathways needed to translate training into sustainable incomes.
As part of Asia Impact House, Skills Root (SVSS) is convening an invitation-only discussion on how India can move beyond skilling as an end goal to building complete livelihood pathways-from skills to employability, entrepreneurship, and income resilience.
Bringing together leaders from philanthropy, CSR, government, employers, digital platforms, and the skilling ecosystem, the convening will explore how cross-sector collaboration can create the partnerships, infrastructure, and market linkages needed to build livelihoods at scale for the workforce of tomorrow.
