Embracing the Inner Child: How Your Younger Self Shapes the Way You Live, Love, and Parent
Before you were a partner, a professional, or a parent, you were a child.
That younger version of you didn’t disappear when you grew up-she’s still present in your needs, your boundaries, your self-worth, and the way you relate to the people you love most.
This workshop is an invitation to turn toward that younger self, understand the stories she carries, and learn how to care for her in a way that supports who you are today.
Drawing on therapy-informed inner child and “reparenting” work, we’ll explore:
What we really mean by “the inner child.”
How early experiences, messages, and dynamics shape your sense of worth, safety, and belonging now
The ways your younger self can show up in your adult life- in your relationships, your work, and your parenting
How consciously tending to your inner child can bring more softness, clarity, and choice into the way you live, love, and parent
You’ll be guided through reflection and journaling exercises. Together, we’ll:
Identify some of the core beliefs your younger self may have taken on about herself and the world
Notice how those beliefs might still be influencing your decisions, your self-talk, and your emotional reactions today
Explore simple ways to “reparent” and work with your inner child
This workshop is not about fixing yourself, but rather it’s about deepening your relationship with the child you once were, so that you can live from a more authentic and confident place.
You’ll leave with:
Concrete practices and journal prompts you can return to whenever you want to reconnect with yourself and realign with the woman you are becoming.
