Alcohol is one of humanity’s oldest coordination tools—long used to reduce social friction and accelerate trust and conversation.
Mixology 101 is a hands-on introduction to the art, logic, and culture of making great drinks (and yes, getting people a little tipsy, open and a lot happier).
It’s how you fork the recipe, understand the protocol, and still ship a great drink anywhere with limited inputs (ingredients)
In past Episodes we explored spirit/sweet/sour and golden ration 2:1:1 with Daiquiri, Margarita, Caipirinha, Whiskey Sour etc, then we explore "Bitter" cocktail depth and complexity.. Negroni, Old-fashion and others, on this session will revise and go through some NON-Alcoholics excellent drinks you can prepare quickly
Structure:
7:30pm course at the Bar 13th floor
8:30pm - hands-on drinks preparation
9:00pm till late night party, in which newly formed bartender will be serving us, karaoke & games :)
You’ll leave with:
Fluency in classic cocktail structures
The ability to improvise great drinks from minimal options
A spec-sheet way of reading cocktail menus
A practical sense of Proof of Mix and Drinks as a Social Protocol
The class&party are free suggested contributions will go to buy extra drinks
This session is led by Sam, a mixologist, bartender and Angostura Global Cocktail Challenge finalist.. experienced in distillation, fermentation and social chemistry ;D
The Party
Orchestrated by Charan, we’ve also got a special host for the night, Fake Tattoos.
2025 saw him become a global touring DJ performing across 14 countries, headlining shows from Europe to Asia. His breakout track Haseen Raatein (Happy Nights) became India’s biggest house/techno export, topping charts and gaining global traction. With 7 tracks in the Top 200 and a new album already making noise, Fake Tattoos is shaping up as one of South Asia’s biggest dance music acts headlining shows in Italy, Germany, Australia, UAE, Singapore, Japan, Poland, Thailand, Estonia, Oman to name a few.
