​As part of Illuminate Dialogues – London 2025, the Climate Finance Breakfast is a private, invitation-only gathering co-hosted by Illuminate Financial and our portfolio company BeZero, focused on the changing landscape of carbon markets and environmental risk infrastructure.

​Navigating the Evolving Landscape: Insights into Carbon

​This session will bring together climate tech founders, institutional investors, and market practitioners to:

• What role do carbon markets play within the broader climate solution set—and how are they becoming more transparent and scalable?
• How are regulation and public funding supporting (or slowing) innovation in this space?
• What are the key obstacles to scaling innovation—and where are the biggest opportunities over the next 5–10 years?

​This breakfast session offers a focused and timely discussion on how data, technology, and policy are shaping the future of sustainable finance. The morning will feature a 30-minute panel and Q&A, co-led by Julie McCrimlisk (Illuminate Financial, London team) and Tommy Ricketts (BeZero), featuring Seb Henbest, (Global Head of Climate Transition at HSBC), exploring what it takes to build scalable, credible infrastructure in voluntary carbon markets and beyond.

​Guests will also have time to connect over coffee and breakfast, meet peers across the climate and finance ecosystem, and exchange perspectives.

​Illuminate Dialogues is a private, invitation-only series hosted by Illuminate Financial, designed to bring together a curated group of industry leaders, investors, and founders for thoughtful, off-the-record conversations on the future of financial services.

​Taking place over two days in London (April 30 – May 1, 2025), the Dialogues are not a conference—they’re a collection of focused, small-format gatherings where strategic themes are explored in depth. Each session is built around a specific topic (such as Digital Assets, Sustainable Finance, Private Markets, or Enterprise Tech & AI), co-hosted with industry partners, and limited to 40–50 guests to keep conversations meaningful and high quality.
