

Buddha's Birthday Celebration
Please join us to celebrate Vesak, the day of the Buddha's birth, awakening, and parinirvana, on Sunday, May 3rd from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time. Those in Tallahassee can come to the Center for food, music, and Dharma talk, while those from afar can join us on Zoom. There is a suggested donation of $25, but pay what you can (or nothing at all!) and join us for the celebration. See the program below.

12:40 PM - 1:10 PM: Flower Ceremony with Bathing the Baby Buddha
1:10 PM - 1:20 PM: Short Break
1:20 PM - 1:45 PM: Musical Performances

The Tallahassee Chan Center is a community space offering meditation, classes, workshops, and residential and non-residential retreats throughout the year. Our programs are rooted in Chan (Zen) practice and are open to people of all backgrounds.
