LADAKH

LADAKH · 6 NIGHTS 7 DAYS
with a 5 Nights 6 Days early-exit option

Swimming in natural hot springs, exploring valleys and high-altitude sand dunes, quiet treks, archery, ATV biking I the sand-dunes, go-karting by the mountains, morning meditation & yoga, bonfires, stargazing, and slow days in landscapes that look unreal.

Trip Dates: 23rd (Sunday) - 29th (Saturday), 2026 (6 nights, 7 days)

5N/6D early exit: 23rd–28th August

This uses the 26 Aug Wednesday Maharashtra holiday (Id-E-Milad) & 28th August (Raksha Bandhan) so most people may need fewer leave days.

This is designed as a 6 nights / 7 days journey so the pace stays gentle, especially with the altitude. Ladakh is not a place to rush — the first day is intentionally kept slow so everyone can acclimatise properly. We recommend everyone to stay 6 nights 7 days because initially when we get there we wil be acclimating to the altitude for the first day or so)

The full trip is 6 Nights / 7 Days.

There is also a 5 Nights / 6 Days early-exit option for anyone who needs to return one day earlier. You’ll still cover the main Ladakh experiences, including the desert valley, hot springs, trek, dunes, adventure activities, yoga, meditation and Pangong Lake.

The only difference is pace: the 5-night group will experience Pangong in a shorter format, while the 6-night group gets an extra night by the lake, sunrise at Pangong and a slower final return.

Day 1 — Arrive & explore Leh

Fly into Ladakh and check into your hotel at around 3,500m. The day is intentionally quiet — rest, hydrate, acclimatise and let your body adjust to the altitude.

In the evening, we’ll keep it light: a gentle walk, an arrival circle and some breathwork to settle into the mountains.

Day 2 — Stillness, monastery & river valleys

A gentle, low-exertion day while we continue acclimatising. We begin early with morning prayers at a hilltop monastery, followed by a quiet meditation inside the monastery grounds.

Later, we move through the surrounding valleys — visiting sacred spaces, strange mountain phenomena, river confluences and an old heritage home set among orchards. The day is about slowing down: soft sightseeing, mountain air, apricot trees, meditation and time to take it all in.

We’ll close with restorative yoga or a guided grounding session. There’s also free time built in if you want to work, journal or just rest.

Day 3 — Desert adventure

We drive over one of the world’s highest motorable mountain passes into a vast high-altitude desert valley. The landscape changes completely — from rocky mountains to open valleys, dunes and wide skies.

After checking into our cottages, the afternoon opens into adventure: ATV biking, archery, ziplining, go-karting or simply wandering through the desert landscape at your own pace.

As evening falls, we gather around a bonfire under the stars, with a slow dinner and time to share stories.

Day 4 — Yoga, hidden lake & hot springs

We begin the morning with yoga at the resort, surrounded by mountains and cold desert air.

Later, we take a short walk to a quiet high-altitude lake — a still, hidden place for reflection, photos and a slower kind of wonder. From there, we head to natural hot springs, where warm mineral water flows straight from the mountain.

The evening is relaxed: tea, rest, dinner and another bonfire for those who want to sit out under the sky.

Day 5 — Trek, dunes & stargazing

A proper half-day trek into a hidden gorge village, passing small fields, mountain paths and old Ladakhi homes. It’s not rushed, but it’s a real walk — enough to feel the land through your body.

In the afternoon, we head back toward the sand dunes: double-humped camels, adventure activities, archery, ATV biking or just sitting in the desert light as the mountains change colour.

After dark, we’ll do a barbecue-style dinner and guided stargazing on the dunes — one of the clearest night skies you’ll see.

Day 6 — The high-altitude lake

We drive along the river route toward a vast blue lake at over 4,000m, close to the edge of the country. The landscape is cinematic — bare mountains, changing light, cold wind and water that shifts from turquoise to deep blue through the day.

The afternoon and evening are slow: walk by the shore, sit by the water, take photos, journal, meditate or simply watch the lake change colour.

For the 5 nights 6 days group, this is the early-exit day. You’ll return toward town and depart early, depending on flight and road timing. The 6 nights 7 days group continues with one final night.

Day 7 — Sunrise, drive back & depart

For those staying the full 6 nights, we begin with a quiet sunrise by the lake, followed by the drive back across the mountains. On the way, we’ll stop at old palaces and monasteries before returning to town.

The trip ends with airport transfers and a slow goodbye to Ladakh.
