After an amazing camping trip, we are coming together for a down-to-earth weekend focused on community, connection, and good times. Whether you are vegan or interested in veganism, everyone from across the province is welcome.
Forget ultra-luxury wellness price tags. This weekend retreat is all about low-key, affordable fun in the beautiful Pincher Creek area. Make sure to mark November 6 - 8 in your calendar because you won’t want to miss out!
Weekend Highlights
Friday Night Potluck: Kick off the retreat by sharing delicious plant-based dishes with new friends.

Hostel Dorm Bed: $36/night (+ GST + 6% Alberta Tourism Tax) in a 6-person dorm room.
Standard Private Room (up to 4 people): $148.50/night (+ GST + 6% Alberta Tourism Tax) featuring 2 queen beds or family room options (may cost more for family room).
How to Register
Book your lodging first: Book online at https://www.skicastle.ca/stay/castle-ski-lodge/ or call Castle Mountain Resort directly by phone at (403) 627-5101 to secure your room or bed. Use promocode CVSRETREAT2026 to receive the group rate for November 6 to 8, 2026.
RSVP on Luma: Once your room is confirmed with the resort, email yyc.vegansocial@gmail.com and then complete your RSVP on Luma so we know you are coming!
Possible Additional Costs / Add-Ons
Since booking and payment go directly to Castle Mountain Resort, AVSM isn’t collecting any payment at the time of booking. Therefore, as details finalize, we may book a dedicated event space for Saturday games and organize an optional vegan breakfast on Saturday morning. Any additional shared costs are going to be reasonable, completely transparent, and communicated well in advance.
