Every year seems to move faster than the last. We build businesses, support families, serve our communities, carry projects forward, and push through challenges. And so often, we move straight on to the next goal without pausing to recognize how far we’ve come, or the people who helped us get here.
Before Thanksgiving, All About The Bay and our community partners are creating space to do exactly that.
The AATB Community Collaboration Summit is an afternoon and evening of acknowledgement, appreciation, and connection. It begins with each of us, extends to the people around us, and ends with a shared vision for 2027.
Before asking what more needs to be accomplished, we acknowledge what has already been accomplished.
Before focusing on what’s missing, we recognize what we already have.
Before continuing to build separately, we discover how we can thrive together.
THE JOURNEY
I Am Enough: Acknowledging Myself
A guided reflection on who we’ve become this year: what we’ve overcome, created, and contributed, and the strengths that often go unnoticed.
You Are Enough: Appreciating Each Other
A Community Appreciation Exchange that recognizes the volunteers, organizers, entrepreneurs, mentors, and quiet contributors who make our communities stronger.
We Have Enough: Recognizing Our Collective Assets
Partner organizations share what they’ve contributed, the resources and strengths they bring, and the opportunities they want to explore together.
Together, We Thrive: Collaboration Labs
Small-group conversations that turn appreciation into real partnership, across three themes:
People & Purpose: well-being, identity, culture, leadership, and self-expression
Business & Resources: AI, technology, marketing, funding, and resource sharing
Community & Impact: civic engagement, nonprofit partnerships, and cross-community building
We Create Our Future: 2027 Commitments
The day closes with a question beyond “What did I learn?”: “Who will I collaborate with, and what will we create together?”
COMMUNITY APPRECIATION DINNER
The evening is the heart of the Summit. Over dinner, we celebrate “The Contributions That Make Us Who We Are” through short stories, photographs, and personal acknowledgements honoring Quiet Contributors, Community Connectors, Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurs, Service Leaders, Cultural Bridge Builders, Emerging Voices, and Collaborative Changemakers.
This isn’t an awards competition. Every contribution matters, and not every contribution needs a title or spotlight to be meaningful.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Entrepreneurs, professionals, nonprofit and civic leaders, creatives, community builders, and anyone with a purpose or project worth sharing.
