

TVG x a16z & Base Power
Hosted by UT Austin's Texas Venture Group in partnership Andreessen Horowitz, join General Partner, Erin Price-Wright, and Base Power cofounder and COO, Justin Lopas, for a panel discussion on October 29 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Students will also have the chance to interact live with company representatives, learn about new product launches, and explore future career opportunities. Catering will be provided by Terry Black’s Barbecue.
Erin Price-Wright helps lead our American Dynamism practice, investing in AI for the physical world across robotics, energy, manufacturing, and defense. She previously led AI and infra investments at Index Ventures and worked in product and engineering at Palantir.
Justin Lopas is the COO and Co-Founder of Base Power (HQ here in Austin). Previously, he was Head of Manufacturing at Anduril, leading 150+ on advanced defense systems, and held engineering roles at SpaceX on Starship and Falcon. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan.
