Walk for Peace LA - Co-Organizing Meeting

Hello fellow community member!

As you may be aware, there is a beautiful Walk for Peace happening, led by Theravāda Buddhist monks from the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center in Fort Worth, TX. The monks are planning to arrive to Washington D.C. on February 11, 2026.

​Sangha House LA is co-organizing an initiative with other interested community members, which will hopefully lead to a Walk for Peace here in LA on the same day the monks arrive to D.C.

​If you’re interested in co-organizing with us and feel that you are able to support this effort, Sangha House LA will be hosting a meeting (in-person and virtual) on Tuesday, January 20th at 6 PM PST. We’d love for you to join us.

We ask that you RSVP and let us know if you will be joining in-person or virtual so we can get an idea of how people will be joining.
