​Join us for ICTEAM Day 2026, an inspiring day dedicated to connecting academia and industry around cutting-edge research in engineering and technology.
​The event will take place on May 28, 2026, from 08:30 to 15:15 at Aula Magna, Louvain-la-Neuve.
​Organized by ICTEAM UCLouvain, this interactive day explores how research in ICT, electronics, and applied mathematics can translate into real-world applications and collaborations with industry.
​Throughout the day, you will:
​Discover concrete research projects and technologies developed at UCLouvain
​Understand how research evolves into industrial applications, including the challenges of the “Valley of Death”
​Explore a real-life example of a research-driven technology now used at scale in industry and gaming
​Engage directly with researchers and PhD students during project presentations (posters) and networking sessions
​Highlighted talks include:

​Peter Van Roy – Partisan: scalable distributed applications, a technology developed in academia and now used at large scale in industry and gaming
​Denis Flandre – From research to industry through the “Valley of Death”
