💡 About Demo Day
Demo Day is a fun, interactive event hosted by the Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (COIE) that celebrates the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit at Centennial College. Students, alumni, and community members can showcase their business ideas, MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) and startups through:
🎤 Round 1: Elevator Pitch | Take the stage and deliver your best 1-minute elevator pitch.
🎤 Round 2: Booth Q&A | Judges will engage with all competitors in an interactive Booth Q&A, asking questions to gain deeper insights into their business ideas, solutions, and potential.Note: 1. No pitch slides are required for Round 1: Elevator Pitch. We will contact you via email to request your startup/venture name and logo for event materials. 2. We will do our best to accommodate all participants and provide everyone with an opportunity to take the stage and pitch their idea.
Don't want to pitch anything? 💬 No problem — join us as a judge and vote for your favourite pitch in the People’s Choice Award and win a lucky draw (🎁 A gift bag with a selection of goodies)!
🤝 If you decide not to pitch this time, the event is still a great opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and connect with industry professionals. Many students have asked us to extend the networking session at the end of the event, so there will be plenty of time to meet others and have meaningful conversations.
