Strength Through Unity

​We are holding a candlelight vigil to remember and honor the South Asian and Indo-Caribbean lives tragically lost on September 11, 2001. It will be an evening of remembrance, poetry, and song.

​This will be a moment of collective reflection and solidarity. In the years following 9/11, our community faced widespread targeting, discrimination, and harmful narratives that persist in public discourse today. By coming together, we reaffirm that our communities have always been an integral part of this city’s grief, resilience, and fabric.
