About Event
Last week, the Supreme Court ruled in U.S. v Skrmetti that Tennessee’s law banning gender-affirming care for transgender youth can remain in effect. By doing so, the Court failed to protect families' freedoms, allowing politicians to continue targeting trans youth’s healthcare needs. This is a painful setback, but the Court left us with other tools to fight back against the political extremists targeting trans people’s safety and dignity. Join the ACLU—Chase Strangio (who argued Skrmetti before SCOTUS), LaLa B Holston-Zannell, and Gillian Bresntetter—to learn more about what this ruling means and how we will continue fighting back together.
