Charting the Path Forward for Trans Rights Post-Skrmetti

​Last week, the Supreme Court ruled in U.S. v Skrmetti that Tennessee’s law banning gender-affirming care for transgender youth can remain in effect. By doing so, the Court failed to protect families' freedoms, allowing politicians to continue targeting trans youth’s healthcare needs. This is a painful setback, but the Court left us with other tools to fight back against the political extremists targeting trans people’s safety and dignity.
