​From Scratch Retreat Weekend in Hunua 🌱

​A weekend to slow down, reconnect, create and make space for what’s next.

​[Updated dates]: Saturday 23 – Sunday 24 January in Hunua.

​We're getting out of the city for a day and evening together in Hunua, hosted at our own member Emily Melhuish's beautiful home and surrounded by nature.

​Starting something from scratch can be exciting, but it can also feel like a lot to carry on your own.

​So we're creating a little space to step away from the noise, put the to-do list down, and spend some unhurried time with women who are also building, changing, figuring things out and finding their way.

​Expect good food, movement, creativity, honest conversations, a campfire and plenty of time to simply be.

​Come as you are. You don't need to have anything figured out.

​Saturday 23 January

​Arrive & Opening Circle
Settle in, meet the group and begin the day together.

​Movement
Get outside, move our bodies and ease into the day.

​Long Lunch
We’ll prepare lunch together, enjoy good food and conversation, and take our time connecting with one another.

​Art & Creative Session
A chance to get out of our heads and into our hands. No artistic experience required just come ready to play and experiment.

​Long Dinner
Let’s cook and share a delicious dinner together, lovely conversation and plenty of time to connect as we ease into the evening.

​A Space to Connect
An open and lightly facilitated space to slow down, share, reflect and have the kinds of conversations we don't always make time for. Bring a question, a challenge, something you're navigating or simply come and listen. We'll see where the conversation takes us.

​Campfire
Wind down around the fire with drinks, stories, laughter and the kind of conversations that happen when there's nowhere else you need to be.

​Stay overnight or head home

​The overnight is completely optional. You’re welcome to head home after the evening, or stay and make a full retreat of it.

​If you’d like to stay, please bring your own sleeping bag and mattress/camping mat. There will be space to sleep at the house, but this will be a cosy, informal communal setup rather than hotel-style accommodation.

​Whether you stay overnight or head home the overnight is simply an option for those who'd like to stay a little longer and join us for brunch the next morning.

​Sunday 24 January

​Slow Brunch & Farewell
Wake up slowly, grab a coffee, share one last meal together and head home feeling a little more rested and connected.

​Brunch is optional for those staying overnight.

​Who is this for?

​You don't need to be a founder to join us.

​Whether you're freelancing, building something, growing a business, changing careers, exploring a new idea, or simply craving some time away from the everyday.

​This retreat is for women who are ambitious, creative, curious and interested in making a difference, wherever they are on their journey.

​Come on your own or bring a friend who might also be keen.

​We'll pull you out of the low lows, support you when you need help, and celebrate the big wins together.

​Who's behind From Scratch?

​Hi :) We're A-Chau and Katharina. We both found ourselves starting again from scratch and wanted to create the kind of community we wished we'd had along the way.

​We're excited to bring a small group of women together for this special weekend and create a little space to slow down, connect and enjoy the journey together.
