IGC Volunteering
Hi friends,
Spring is back in Berlin. As the city warms up, life moves outdoors again, cafés fill up, and parks come alive. And yet, for thousands of people here, daily life still revolves around access to the most basic needs: food, safety, and human connection.
On Sarurday, June 13, at 6.00 pm, we’ll be volunteering again with Berliner Obdachlosenhilfe e.V. at Kottbusser Tor, supporting their evening food distribution for people living on the streets or without reliable access to meals.
Last time, we met people from very different backgrounds, each with their own story. What stayed most was how much small moments matter: a short conversation, a warm meal, a sense of being seen.
Afterwards, we’ll wrap up with cold drinks and baklava, creating a bit of space to exchange impressions and wind down together.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly. I’d be glad to have many of you there.
Best,
Florian
