​Three years ago, The New York Groove set out to prove that local journalism could be useful, fun, and make you a better New Yorker. We've celebrated the best way we know how: inviting our readers to dunk our own hardworking local news journalist and America's Sweetheart, Dave Colon, into the backyard tank at The Mallard Drake. And we're doing it again!

​Join us for The Dunkening III, our third anniversary celebration, at Brooklyn's only bar with a backyard dunk tank. Come celebrate another year of local reporting, support independent journalism, and spend an evening with the readers, members, writers, and community who make up The Groven.
