James Cameron | Partner at AirTree
James is a Partner at AirTree Ventures focusing on early-stage and growth-stage investments in Australia and New Zealand with a particular interest in software and fintech. James has led AirTree’s investments in A Cloud Guru, DroneDeploy, Athena, Prospa, Secure Code Warrior and dGraph. Before joining AirTree, James spent 15 years working overseas. He was Vice President at Accel Partners, the VC fund behind Slack, Dropbox, Facebook and Spotify.
Noga Edelstein | EIR Tractor Ventures
Noga leads the Advisory team at Tractor Ventures, which provides non-dilutive strategic funding to technology companies. A corporate lawyer turned entrepreneur and investor, she has experienced every stage of the startup lifecycle from inception and launch, to funding and exit. She co-founded on-demand home services marketplace UrbanYou which scaled through to successful exit. She now helps to unlock possibilities for founders through her work as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Tractor Ventures, Venture Partner at Black Nova VC, and Ambassador for SBE Australia.
Matt Vitale | Co-Founder at Birchal
Matt is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Birchal, Australia's leading equity crowdfunding platform. Matt is an experienced financial services lawyer and entrepreneur having worked in private practice at a top tier law firm, and founded several successful businesses. A recognised expert in the regulation of financial services, and crowdfunding, Matt is a regular media commentator and contributes to scholarly journals and industry consultations
Eliza Jackson | Investor at Macdoch Ventures
Eliza has worked across all stages of investing, from equity capital markets to growth investing to pre-seed and seed in her current role at Macdoch Ventures. She works with early stage B2B founders across application layer and infrastructure layer technologies, and she collaborates with investors both locally and globally, primarily in the US to help founders raise capital from their dream VCs.
Jess Walker | Programs and Community Manager at AirTree
Jess has seen many sides to the startup ecosystem in ANZ. From founding a business, acquisition, to an Investment Associate, Angel Investor and now managing programs at AirTree. She runs the Angel Investment AirTree Explorer Program and the Pioneers Community, helping women and diverse genders become VC back-able. Jess is also a Non-Executive Director at Sydney's largest startup co-working space, Fishburners.
