Future of Aging Research (FAR) Mixer 2026
The Future of Aging Research (FAR) Mixer 2026, hosted by the Aging Initiative (aging-initiative.org), aims to bring together undergraduate and graduate student researchers specializing in various biotechnology and aging-related disciplines under one roof to learn from experienced pioneers in the field of aging biology. Note: registration approval is required to attend!
We are beyond excited to be joined by a selection of groundbreaking scientists and pioneers this year who lead the push towards a healthier future in their everyday lives through cutting-edge scientific discovery.
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Langer will be joining us as the opening keynote speaker for FAR 2026. Dr. Langer is Institute Professor at MIT and a Co-Founder of Moderna, Lyndra Therapeutics, and Momenta Pharmaceuticals, which was acquired by Johnson & Johnson. He is also a globally recognized pioneer of controlled-drug release delivery systems, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicines. He serves on the boards of Seer Bio, Syntis Bio, EpiBone, Dewpoint Therapeutics, and many more notable companies.
The Future of Aging Research Mixer 2026 will open up important conversations about how aging research may continue to unfold over the next few years, ensuring it heads in a direction that prioritizes health and wellbeing above all. This year's FAR Mixer has been extended by an hour to allow ample opportunities for our guests to network and share their knowledge and experiences in the aging space. Furthermore, we hope this event will serve as a turning point for our attendees to think in their research, care, advocacy, and business about aging biology, its manifestations, and ultimately, how to spark innovation for leading longer, healthier lives.
