Bodywork Modalities Q&A
What would you like to know about bodywork?
Anything from "what is X modality" to "how do I find a good bodyworker for me" to "what modalities are good for Y or Z."
In this hour, I will be live to answer any of your questions! Maybe I'll have a short 10m intro or teaching, but mostly I like talking to people, so the Q&A format feels the most fun for me.
Bring your questions! Feel free to submit them ahead of time, too, to give me more time to prepare.
I titled this "Bodywork Modalities Q&A" but I'm happy to answer more general questions, too.
Example questions:
How to tell swedish massage from esalen from craniosacral from biogeometric integration from myofascial from rolfing from lymphatic drainage, etc
What's the difference between bodywork-for-nervous-system-healing and bodywork for structural issues? I have PTSD, can bodywork help with that? (Short answer: Yes, Followup question: How?)
How much is it about the modality versus the practitioner? How well-defined are modalities, and how much variance is there inside each one?
Elena, what modalities have personally been your favorites?
