#LegalizePsilocybin in New York Dinner
Join us for an intimate, high-impact dinner in New York City, hosted by the Microdosing Collective and New Yorkers for Mental Health Alternatives, in support of New York’s first-ever psilocybin legalization bill. 🍄
This dinner is a fundraiser and proceeds from your ticket will help us move this important policy forward.
This evening will bring together visionary humans that believe in the power of psychedelics, aligned supporters, policy advocates, and donors for dinner, drinks, and roundtable conversations designed to educate, connect, and raise critical funds to advance safe access to psilocybin in New York.
We’re honored to be joined by two attending legislators sponsoring NY Assembly Bill 2142:
Assembly Member Amy Paulin, Chair, Assembly Committee on Health
Senator Julia Salazar, Chair, Senate Committee on Crime and Correction
The new legislation aims to:
Allow adults to obtain a permit to use psilocybin in private homes and locations. Public use allowed so long as it is not visibly intoxicating (microdosing)
Require a health screening for exclusion criteria—either by self-certifying or with a healthcare provider to allow identification of (unnecessary) qualifying health conditions—and completion of a 5-hour un-failable educational course
Legalize optional support services, including paid trip-sitters
Permit home cultivation or purchases from licensed cultivators
This gathering is your chance to:
💬 Connect with fellow advocates and supporters of psychedelic reform
⚖️ Get the inside scoop on New York’s legislative momentum
✊ Directly fund lobbying efforts to push the bill forward
🍝 Enjoy an intimate dinner, drinks, and roundtable conversations
All funds raised go straight to the teams championing psilocybin legalization in New York, helping to keep momentum alive and bring this policy across the finish line.
About the hosts:
Microdosing Collective is the first 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the U.S. dedicated to advancing microdosing education, research, and legalization, supported by a community of over 18,000 people.
New Yorkers for Mental Health Alternatives is a grassroots organization focused on educating New Yorkers on the benefits of safe access to psilocybin-containing mushrooms. Our broad goals are to end psychedelic prohibition, allowing people to speak of their psychedelic experiences without fear, and to create immediate equitable access to the cultivation and use of psilocybin-containing mushrooms.
