Boats & Bites

​This month, we're swapping pavements for the water as we set off on a self-drive boating adventure around Regent's Canal.

​We'll spend two hours cruising through the waterways, passing colourful houseboats, waterside cafés, leafy towpaths, and some of London's most charming neighbourhoods. No boating licence or previous experience is needed—just bring yourself and enjoy the journey.

​Pack your favourite snacks and drinks to enjoy on board as we drift through the canal at a relaxed pace. Whether it's a homemade picnic, your favourite takeaway, or something picked up on the way, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the ride. Please note that this is an alcohol free excursion.

​Our boat accommodates up to 8 people. The total boat hire is £94 for two hours, which will be split equally between everyone attending (around £11.75 per person if all 8 spaces are filled).

​Please note: We'll need enough confirmed attendees to make the booking worthwhile. If we don't reach the minimum number needed, the event may be cancelled.

​If you're looking for a slower way to experience London, this is it. Come aboard for good conversation, great company, and a unique afternoon with fellow Third Culture Kids and internationally minded people.

​This meet up is hosted by Home London, where Third Culture Kids gather on Sundays throughout the year to connect, explore, and just hang out. If you grew up between cultures, moved around a lot, or never quite fit into one passport, you'll feel right at home here. We do everything from museum visits to park hangs to grabbing a pint at a pub. New faces are always welcome, so come say hi and see what we're about!
