Updating Workforce Systems for Economic Disruption

​As advances in artificial intelligence and other technologies reshape the economy, policymakers have a timely opportunity to modernize workforce programs and ensure they are equipped to meet the challenges of the decades ahead.

​Please join the Niskanen Center on Monday, July 20, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at 1201 New York Avenue NW for a conversation on the future of workforce policy. This two-part panel discussion will explore opportunities to strengthen Unemployment Insurance, modernize Workforce Opportunity and Innovation Act grants, and improve the systems that help workers find new employment, access training, and build long-term economic security.
