Virtual | Beyond the Medicine: Ibogaine, Integration, and What Actually Lasts with Aeden Smith-Ahearn
Ibogaine is having a moment. Veterans, researchers, and lawmakers are paying attention, and more people than ever are asking whether it could be the answer for someone they love.
Aeden Smith-Ahearn has spent more than a decade on the other side of that question. He founded Experience Ibogaine, one of the longest running ibogaine clinics in Baja California, and has walked beside more than 2,500 people through treatment. He has seen what the medicine can open. He has also seen what happens when nobody is there for the weeks after.
In this Wisdom Circle, Aeden steps back from the clinic floor to share what ten years in the field have taught him, and where he believes responsible ibogaine care has to go next.
This is a conversation for anyone who wants to understand ibogaine honestly: what it does, what it does not do, who it is for, and why the medicine is only the beginning.
What we will explore together
Why the field is shifting its focus from the treatment itself to everything that surrounds it
What proper medical screening and supervision look like, and why they are never optional
The aftercare gap: why so many people are sent home with nothing, and what it costs them
Integration as the work that decides whether the opening holds
What families, practitioners, and clinics can do differently, starting now
This circle is for you if
You are considering ibogaine for yourself or someone you love and want the unvarnished picture
You work with individuals before or after plant medicine and want a clinic founder's view
You care about where psychedelic care is heading and who is shaping it
You believe healing continues long after the medicine
Come prepared with a journal and your questions. Aeden takes them live.
Includes live Q&A. The recording goes to everyone who registers.
