The Boardroom - Business Study Group
Why I started this
Being a founder can be lonely. You're the sole decision-maker on finances, hiring and firing, when to launch something and when to kill it. Most of the time, you make those calls based on the information available to you in that moment.
But what if you could challenge yourself? What if you had a room full of people who've faced similar decisions, studied different industries, and were willing to share honestly?
That's why I created The Boardroom. Not a lecture. Not a panel. Just a group of curious, driven people sitting down to study real business cases together.
How it works
Each month, we study a pre-selected business case: a real company, a real decision, a real outcome
Cases cover a range of themes: financials, marketing, hiring, product, strategy, and more
The case and discussion questions are shared with members ahead of time so you can come prepared
At the end of each session, we decide the next case together and if someone has a case they want to bring, even better
Any industry is welcome.
Who should come
Founders, co-founders, operators, and business enthusiasts who are hungry to learn from other businesses. Whether you're running a company today or building toward one, you'll fit right in.
No homework required but if you show up having read the case, you'll get a lot more out of it.
What to expect
A small, focused group, quality over quantity
Honest, experience-driven conversation, not just theory
New perspectives on decisions you're probably already making
A monthly habit that makes you a sharper thinker and a better builder
Hosted by
A Tokyo-based founder with companies operating nationwide and internationally. My background spans 4 industries, having successfully built businesses from zero, and yes, failed at some too, as well as flipped fully established companies. I started this group because the room I was looking for didn't exist yet.
