July 2026 Communal Tasks
Welcome to the Growchapel July Task Board! 🌿
High Summer has arrived! The allotment is at its lushest and busiest right now. July is all about staying on top of the summer flush, making sure our crops get enough water and ensuring the weeds don't swallow the paths while everything is growing at double speed.
Seasonal Priorities for July:
The Harvest: Soft fruits like strawberries are in their prime! Check your Zone description to see what’s ready to pick.
Hydration: Raised beds and containers dry out quickly in the sun. If you have a spare 5 minutes, a quick water in Zone P or Zone W makes a huge difference.
Bindweed Battle: It’s at full strength this month! Catching it now before it flowers helps us massively for next year.
How to contribute:
Find your Zone: Check the on-site map or the photo references.
Do the Work: Complete your communal hour in your chosen area.
Claim it: Once the work is done, register for the "ticket" here to show the zone as Sold Out.
A Note on the Map: Growchapel is a living, breathing site. As things grow and move, our aerial map might not be 100% perfect, if you spot something that needs a tweak, let the Committee know!
