Working Across Difference: Cross-Cultural Communication at Work

Today’s workplaces are increasingly global and culturally diverse. Teams bring together people shaped by different cultural norms, values, communication styles, and lived experiences. For HR and People Leaders, this diversity brings strength, and real complexity.

This 60-minute interactive workshop is designed to help you strengthen cross-cultural communication and reduce friction across difference. You will explore how culture influences expectations around feedback, conflict, hierarchy, decision-making, and collaboration, and where misunderstandings most often arise at work.

Together, we will examine how unconscious bias, assumptions, and dominant workplace norms shape communication, often without intention. You will learn practical ways to lead with curiosity, clarity, and respect while supporting inclusive and effective collaboration across cultures.

You will leave with shared language, practical strategies, and greater confidence navigating cross-cultural dynamics in your teams.

Facilitated by SkillsCamp, this session blends reflection, real-world examples, and actionable tools in a highly engaging learning experience.
