Collaging With the Inner Child

​Join local therapist Lex for a mini workshop exploring the intersection of neuroscience, art, and mindfulness. Together, we’ll explore how childhood experiences shape the brain, nervous system, and the ways we experience the world. The workshop begins with a guided meditation and science-informed education, followed by practical tools for nervous system regulation and reflection. In the second half, you’ll have space to journal with guided prompts, create a personal collage using provided materials, or connect with others. This is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with younger parts of yourself, and explore your healing journey through creativity, curiosity, and self-compassion. No art experience necessary — just come as you are.

​Coffee, tea, and water will be provided!

​Bring: Please bring any collaging materials you might like to add to your collage - like printed photos of you as a child or whatever symbolizes that time in your life.

​We will have an assortment of glue, scissors and magazine clippings but please feel free to bring your own items to use.

​Bonus! Bring headphones and a playlist with music from your childhood to collage to!

​Lex is a trauma-informed therapist and yoga teacher who integrates clinical social work, EMDR, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and a spiritually informed approach to healing. With a background in psychology, clinical social work, and yoga, Lex is passionate about helping people understand themselves more deeply, heal from past experiences, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Lex believes in honoring the connection between mind, body, and spirit and creating space for healing through curiosity, compassion, and creative exploration.
