About Event

We're taught how to earn money. Rarely are we taught how to build wealth.

Most of us know how to work hard for a salary. Fewer of us were shown what to do with it next: how to turn this month's income into choices in ten or twenty years. At Don't Get Rich. Get Wealthy. we're reframing the money conversation, from earning to strategy, and from getting by to getting free.

Wealth here isn't a flex or a number. It's agency: the freedom to make choices, take risks and invest in the person you'll be. Getting rich is a goal. Building wealth is a strategy.

Four women, four perspectives on wealth: how to build it, what gets in your way, how to think about money differently and how to actually start.

What to expect

  • Hear from four women sharing honest stories about money: what they learned, what got in the way and what they'd do differently

  • Practical insight you can use, with no jargon and no financial advice

  • Three takeaways from every talk, so you leave with something to act on

  • A joint Q&A with all four speakers, then drinks and conversation

Why come?

Because nobody hands you the rulebook for money, and the people who have one aren't usually talking to you. This evening is for women who are already capable and want to go further: no product pitch, no financial advice, just four women who've done it, sharing what they know with you.

Who you'll hear from

Corinne Aaron, entrepreneur, investor and co-founder of Women Invested. Corinne Aaron is an entrepreneur, investor and co-founder of Women Invested, a community dedicated to helping women build financial confidence and independence. Having navigated her own journey of rebuilding financially after divorce as a mother of children, she understands the importance of creating wealth and the freedom that comes with it. Alongside a successful international career, Corinne has built a portfolio of investments, property and business ventures. She believes financial independence is ultimately about having the freedom to make choices, take chances and live life on your own terms.

Lena Perepelova, founder of Women Investors Club. For the past ten years, Lena Perepelova, founder of Women Investors Club, has been talking, teaching and reflecting about money. Born in the Soviet Union, she spent her twenties in the Netherlands, completed one of the world's top MBA programmes and now lives in one of Spain's wealthiest communities. Her questions go beyond what to do with money: what actually helps us build wealth, what gets in our way, and what is the point? Lena shares lessons from her own journey and a decade of working with others on financial confidence, the emotions that hold us back and the habits that build financial wellbeing.

Dorothy Seguy, founder of Plentiful. Dorothy Seguy is the founder of Plentiful, a financial literacy community and newsletter for women who want to understand money, not just manage it. With a background in gender studies and a career leading growth for brands like Danone, PVH and Vlisco, she sits where personal finance meets feminism. She believes wealth is independence, and that financial literacy is a quiet form of protest. French-born and Amsterdam-based, she also runs The Next Women, a community for female entrepreneurs. Her motto: we play the game better when we know the rules.

Ana Herrero-Wallace, former NASDAQ trader, author and founder of Ada Invest. Ana Herrero-Wallace started her career as a NASDAQ trader in the US and spent 25 years in finance and fintech. Today she is the author of Still Thinking? Act. Smarter Money for Women, and founder of Ada Invest, where she helps women understand their money and finally act on it. Having lived and worked in 5 countries, she knows how confusing investing and pensions can feel, and makes them simple and practical. Her message: you don't need to be an expert to start. Long-term and boring beats clever.

Hosted by Kerrie Finch. Kerrie Finch is a speaker, stage MC, event host and moderator. As a strategic communications expert focused on creativity and tech innovation globally, Kerrie works with brands and leaders to polish their positioning and to become thought leaders. She founded SheSays AMS in 2013 and is the country rep for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and an alum of Wieden+Kennedy.
