How the US Dollar locks in global exploitation - and what we can do about it
Free Webinar: Wednesday 1st July 2026, 12:30pm to 1:30pm BST
The role of the US dollar in locking countries in the Global South into debt dependency, constraining climate action, driving extraction, and limiting democracy across the world is still understood by far too few in the Global North. But shifts in the global currency order are opening up opportunities for change. What are these, and how can we make the most of them to further a more just and equal future?
Future Narratives Lab and Positive Money invite you to join a lunchtime discussion with a group of experts on how we can push back against narratives that reinforce the dominance of the US Dollar, and the launch of new resources for civil society and spokespeople to build solidarity and collective power with Global South actors already showing the way forward.
