💡 What is MoVi?
Mosaic Vision
MoVi stands for “mosaic vision:” where multiple eyes work together to form an expansive peripheral vision, providing a highly accurate image of everything that is around us in the world.
Our core belief is that diverse perspectives lead to better outcomes. By assembling a diverse community both in terms of background and in professional experience, we are all in a better position to solve complex problems and make better decisions through our collective intelligence.
The MoVi Ecosystem
MoVi is a network dedicated to learning and innovation, driven by the idea that collective intelligence forged through diverse perspectives empowers people to make better decisions and realize opportunities in a rapidly evolving world.
Getting involved in the community will help you expand your professional and personal network as part of a close-knit, growing community of 200+ exceptional leaders, operators, and entrepreneurs who share and embody our four core values.
MoVi is structured as three interconnected groups: MoVi Community, MoVi Labs, and MoVi Capital.
MoVi Community
The MoVi Community is a diverse network of professionals and innovators across a spectrum of disciplines where members interact to learn, solve problems, and motivate each other to deepen our understanding of the world.
MoVi Labs
MoVi Labs supercharges the progress of companies within the MoVi ecosystem by tapping into the collective intelligence of our community. MoVi creates structured opportunities for members to leverage their superpowers to help companies achieve their immediate and strategic priorities.
MoVi Capital
MoVi Capital provides startup capital and follow-on investment to disruptive, high-growth technology companies, sourced from MoVi Labs and the wider MoVi network.

By synthesizing the diverse perspectives of everyone in the community, a collective intelligence emerges, which members value dearly.
Such a collective intelligence is especially valuable because our members view obstacles as opportunities and thus leverage the collective intelligence to build innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing problems.
The process above is only possible because our members have a positive-sum game mindset and practice reciprocity to build a bigger pie for everyone.

Getting involved in MoVi Labs
We believe the future of incubating and scaling ventures is through community. As a community of reciprocity, we have always supported each other’s passion and work on an informal basis. After multiple conversations with members, we heard loud and clear that there is strong interest among members to formalize this notion as MoVi Labs.
MoVi Labs unlocks the collective intelligence of our community by creating structured opportunities for members to leverage their superpowers to bolster the progress of companies within the MoVi ecosystem. Members can engage with Labs companies through high-level advisory or more hands-on, operational engagements on a short, medium, or long-term basis.
MoVi members who are builders or operators can leverage the expertise of our community by having their company join MoVi Labs.
Getting involved in MoVi Capital
By getting involved in MoVi Capital, you'll get the opportunity to invest alongside MoVi members in early-stage technology startups that have been vetted by the core team and the MoVi Community. Investments are made opportunistically and are typically sourced directly from Labs or from the wider MoVi network.
Previous investments made by members of the community include Blend, Figure, Argyle, Bitso, Cape Analytics, Ocrolus, Uplinq, Comet, and others.
📌 Membership Basics
Time Commitment
We don't have a strict minimum time commitment. We acknowledge that our members are busy people so their engagement levels will likely fluctuate overtime.
Having said this, we do believe that the value that you get from the community is proportional to the time you put in so we encourage all members to actively participate in initiatives that pique their interest.
At a minimum, we highly encourage all new members to come in with a mindset of wanting to meet other amazing members by participating in some of our community initiatives e.g. Happy Hours, Boomerangs, Salon Dinners, Guilds, etc.
FAQs
Confidentiality: Members are expected to treat any confidential information with a reasonable standard of care as they would in their normal course of business, as long as it does not present a conflict with their professional employment, which would govern their obligation.
Contractual obligations: When you join MoVi, you do not undertake any type of contractual obligations. When you join MoVi, you are not joining a “board of directors” or “board of trustees”, or undertaking any type of fiduciary obligation to MoVi or to other members of the network.
Representation: When you join MoVi, it is clear that you are acting in your individual capacity and not as a representative of your employer.
Membership agreement: There are no membership fees or agreements required for joining the MoVi community. Having said this, in the spirit of reciprocity, you’ll be asked to contribute to the collective intelligence of the community by sharing your subject matter expertise periodically.
Commitment: See above for more details on what membership commitment looks like, but your participation within the MoVi community should not interfere with your other obligations.
Disassociation: If your employer asks you to disassociate from MoVi, membership can be terminated upon either verbal or written notice by a member, and your bio will be taken down from our platforms immediately.
📝 Application Process
MoVi is an invite-only, member-sponsored community: there is no open application.
All MoVi members should be familiar with the process to sponsor new members.
Once the sponsorship has been received by the MoVi core team, the prospective new member will be informed of next steps.
