Dr. Sam Donegan is a medical doctor, AI engineer, and community builder passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems. As the co-founder of SupportSorted, an AI platform helping Australians with disabilities access care, Sam has scaled it from zero to $4 million in revenue and now co-leads MLAI Australia, a 10,000+ strong volunteer network reshaping the national AI ecosystem.
Dr. Suneeta Mall leads AI Engineering at harrison.ai, where she and her team built Harrison.Rad 1.5, a radiology foundation model that drafts clinical reports straight from medical images. She holds a PhD in medical image analysis from the University of Sydney, with prior roles at Nearmap and IBM, and researches applying deep learning to diagnostic imaging, including digital mammography. She also writes for O'Reilly
Dr. Anurag Ganugapati is a surgical doctor and the co-founder/CEO of StatDoctor, a platform connecting hospitals with locum doctors across Australia. A University of Otago graduate, he built StatDoctor after experiencing burnout as a clinician, turning that experience into a tech-driven fix for Australia's locum staffing system.
Dr. Tom Lee is Co-Founder and CEO of NewDoc, a bulk-billed GP telehealth service that's completed 30,000+ consults. He also co-founded Hopmedic, a locum and telehealth job platform for Australian doctors, which he's grown to over 330 active healthcare professionals. A former NSW Health emergency doctor, he's built multiple ventures fixing inefficiencies in healthcare workforce and access.
