About Event
Join Mt. Adams Resource Stewards (MARS) and the LARK group (birding group from the Columbia River Gorge) for a morning of birding on the Mill Pond tract of the Mt. Adams Community Forest near Glenwood, WA!
No experience required. We'll have experienced birders help lead the group & train newer folks.
The event will officially start at 8:00 am, but feel free to join us as early as 7:15 am to catch the early birds and enjoy the beautiful Mill Pond morning. Pastries and warm drinks will be served!
Please bring weather-appropriate layers and water. We will be walking up to about 3 miles on a mostly flat trail. Binoculars, ID books, and/or the Merlin or eBird phone apps would be great to bring along!

Meet at the Mill Pond tract of the Mt. Adams Community Forest, about 3 miles east of Glenwood, WA. Go past the camping area and turn right onto the Private Haul Rd.
