​A breast cancer diagnosis changes everything: your body, your relationships, your sense of self. But nobody talks about what happens to the woman inside all of it and her desire, her identity. What actually happens to her relationship with her own body when it feels like it has turned against her?

​This month on Between Us, join me for a real conversation with Ellie McCann. Ellie is the mother of three amazing daughters and two spirited granddaughters. She is an educator on all things parenting with the University of Minnesota Extension. She was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer in August 2020 and went through chemo, a lumpectomy, 37 rounds of radiation and targeted therapy infusions all during Covid. She never saw the face of her providers without a mask.
