Join Angela Choi in Mexico City for International Generalist Day — a global celebration happening simultaneously across cities worldwide on September 16th, 2026.
Angela is hosting Connection & Curiosity at Libertario Coffee Roasters – Roma Norte — a relaxed, friendly gathering for generalists in Mexico City to connect, share skills and experiences, and reflect on what makes life feel meaningful and alive.
What is a generalist?
Individuals who apply their skills across multiple domains, connect disparate ideas, or serve as “translators” between different teams and disciplines. If you've ever felt your career doesn't fit in a single box, this event is for you!
What to expect:
Generalists Bingo — Meet fellow attendees through a playful bingo game designed to uncover the wonderfully non-linear paths, interests, and experiences in the room.
Teach Me Something — Everyone has something they know that someone else may not. Share a skill, trick, fact, cultural tradition, dance move, or anything else you can teach in a few minutes.
Guided Conversation — Reflect on a series of prompts that invite us to step outside of careers and accomplishments and explore what we're curious about, what makes us feel alive, and what we want to experience in this lifetime.
Good Company — Grab a coffee or drink, meet interesting people, and have the kinds of conversations that make you glad you showed up.
About your host
Angela Choi is a Coach, Facilitator, and Author with experience working in the corporate, startup, non-profit, entrepreneurial, and freelancing worlds. She's interested in non-linear lives/careers, loves the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and is currently exploring death awareness and contemplation. Her book, which reflects her own non-linear path, can be found here.
