Survivalist: Riso Wolf Edition - A StyleFrame Workshop with Jeffery Lawson
Survivalist - Riso Wolf Edition explores AI through a tactile lens, where digital generation meets the character and imperfections of analog craft. Inspired by Risograph printing, it runs generation, illustration, design, and sound together - texture, grain, imperfection, experimentation.
On August 13, we're pulling it apart start to finish:
Generation → Illustration → Animation → Risograph Printing → Scanning → Final Animation → Sound Design
Jeffery walks through his whole process: generating the frames, illustrating over them, then using a physical print-and-scan process on textured paper to create the Riso-inspired look before rebuilding it all in After Effects. Wesley Slover breaks down the sound. The StyleFrame team will do a demo to show how the keyframes were made. Time for questions at the end!
Register and we'll send you the project files: the finished animation, Jeff's step-by-step breakdown, and Wesley's audio walkthrough. Join live for a special gift from the StyleFrame team! :)
