Touch Grass: Yoga in the Park + Career Reality Check is part of The New Hire Summer Series—an intentional pause from the pace of work to reset, reflect, and have the kinds of career conversations that don’t happen in meetings or LinkedIn DMs.
We’ll start with a light outdoor yoga session to get out of our heads and back into our bodies. No experience needed, just come as you are.
Afterwards, we’ll gather in a casual circle for a guided “career reality check” conversation. Think less networking, more honesty.
We’ll be sharing things like:
The career lessons we learned the hard way
Moments we thought were setbacks (but weren’t)
Things we’re no longer taking so seriously at work
Advice we wish someone told us earlier
No pressure to perform. No titles. No pretending you’ve figured it all out.
Just real people, real careers, and a shared reminder that sometimes the best thing you can do for your career… is step away from it for a second.
