Wayve AI Open Day #2 - Tokyo, Japan
Wayve builds an AI Driver that learns to drive from real-world experience, without pre-mapped routes or hand-written rules.
Following our first Tokyo Open Day in May, we are bringing the community back together: engineers, researchers, and leaders working across automotive, autonomous driving, robotics, and Embodied AI.
Join Wayve’s senior leadership team and Japan-based colleagues for an evening of short talks, live demo rides, conversation, and networking with the people helping shape the future of mobility.
Our AI Driver took to Japan’s roads last year, driving safely in a brand-new country within days, without maps or re-engineering. This is what sets our approach apart: the ability to adapt rapidly to new environments and scale more efficiently.
We are continuing to deepen our partnership with Nissan as we build toward the first generation of production robotaxis. We have also announced plans to launch with Uber in Tokyo in 2026, an important step toward deploying autonomous driving at global scale.

Come and see how it drives
Ride with the AI Driver. We will be running live demos on Tokyo roads throughout the evening, alongside talks and networking. Places in the car are limited and will be allocated once the guest list is finalized. We aim to offer demo rides to as many guests as possible.
Space is limited. This is a private, approval-based event, and submitting an RSVP does not guarantee attendance. Confirmed guests will receive additional event and location details.
