New York Local Series: TPPG Edition
Vacancy. East Village. One night only.
The Motel No Tell is a bar pretending to be a roadside motel that's pretending it's 1983 in Palm Springs. Neon, disco balls, vinyl booths, bathrooms numbered like rooms. There's a tiny TV in the corner stuck on the home screen of a Casino DVD and no one has ever fixed it, which tells you everything you need to know about the place.
We're hanging out there for a night.
Neapolitan pizza. Cold beer. Frozen drinks that show up looking
Just some fellow NYC People People, off the clock, close enough to actually hear each other, in a bar that has never once asked anyone what they do for a living.
Check in. Stay a while.
