SecOps Reset
SecOps Reset
This is a transformative year for security operations - what's ahead could be radically new, not an incremental change.
For us here in Ireland, a secops reset has particular significance: ops roles are over-represented here, a core of our past success. Major changes in staffing or operating model could be damaging - or we can grasp the opportunity and innovate from Ireland.
To that end, I'm hosting a small event in Dublin, potentially kicking off a small series.
We'll have a few talks on secops transformation and a chance to compare notes on where we are or what's coming. If you have something you'd like to speak on or see covered, please note it in the form or get in touch directly.
Please note: this is specifically for people in secops (doers or leaders), it is not an open event.
Session 1 - Future of SecOps tooling
Peter Hanily
Where do we go from here? Because of the advances that have seemed so rapid the past few months (but have been building for a while) we need to radically rethink or approach to tooling and procurement. A new paradigm exists for equipping SecOps organisations and the those that adapt to it will succeed.
Session 2 - Agentic SOC: Building and Managing Multi-Agent Security Operations
Chetan Tibrewal
Many ops teams are under headcount pressure while dealing with increasing threats. Agentic AI offers a potential solution but multi-agent architectures need careful planning and development. This talk will show the value of specialist agents over generalist ones, and what a practical roadmap looks like for a secops team which is starting to move towards agentic SOC.
