The Leader and Complexity with Scott Wadsworth and Paul Paradise

​What does leadership look like when your teams are too big to know personally and your decisions ripple across an entire company? Two TMU alumni and longtime friends take you inside how their businesses actually work.

​Scott Wadsworth leads operations and procurement for Clear Channel Outdoor, one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the country, overseeing everything from construction and safety to the installation of the billboards you drive past every day. Paul Paradise has spent 17 years at Audigy, a national network of hearing care practices, and is a two-time President's Club winner who grows and acquires businesses across the western U.S. Scott focuses on keeping operations running.

​They'll walk through their career paths and current roles, then dig into the leadership lessons they've learned along the way: stepping into management for the first time, holding standards across large teams, influencing people you don't have authority over, making decisions in complex environments, and living out your faith in a secular workplace. They'll also share how a friendship that started at TMU has carried them through 25+ years of their careers. There will be a time for open Q&A at the end.
