Meditation for Real Life
A three-hour introduction to meditation
Most people who are curious about meditation never quite start. The imagery feels too spiritual, the instructions too vague, or the idea of sitting in silence too uncomfortable.
Meditation for Real Life is built for exactly those people.
This is a single three-hour session on Zoom (with breaks). No prior experience required. Just practical, grounded instruction in four core meditation approaches, taught in plain language with space to ask real questions.
What the session covers
The workshop runs in two parts with a break in between.
Part 1 covers arriving and settling, breath awareness as a tool for training attention, and open reflection on what you noticed.
Part 2 covers loving kindness as a practice for emotional warmth and wellbeing, open awareness for relating to thoughts and sensations with more ease, and a clear picture of how meditation fits into everyday life.
