April’s table is going Basque.
A room full of food people, each bringing something they made.
Join us for our April cookbook club gathering featuring Basque by José Pizarro — bold Spanish dishes built for sharing and passing around a crowded table.
This edition gathers at Danu Social House, a space known for thoughtful hospitality and community-rooted programming. We’ll be seated in their back area during Sunday service, sharing our table within theirs.
We’re opening 30 seats to start.
If the table fills quickly, we may release a few additional spots.
How it works:
🥘 Pick a recipe from the cookbook (available on Libby)
🍳 Cook it at home
🍴 Bring your dish to share (6–8 portions) — everyone participates
💬 Eat, hang, and chat with fellow food lovers
No professional skills required — just bring your appetite, curiosity, and love for communal eating.
Whether you’ve cooked Spanish food for years or this is your first time, everyone is welcome.
A few friendly notes:
✅ A confirmation email will be sent after you RSVP. If you don’t see it, feel free to reach out.
✅ Please choose your recipe and add your name to the sign-up sheet within 3 days of RSVPing (or sooner if the event is within a week). This helps us keep the table balanced and fair.
📸 By joining this gathering, you consent to photography and videography that may be shared on social media.
Cancellation & Waitlist
If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your seat to someone on the waitlist.
If a seat opens:
• 2+ days before the event — 24 hours to confirm
• 1 day before — 4 hours
• Within 48 hours — openings are typically shared in our WhatsApp community
Waitlist movement closes 12 hours before the event.
Repeated no-shows without notice may affect future participation, out of fairness to those preparing dishes.
