You won’t be charged until your application is accepted. Spots at the lodge are limited, so we confirm space with them before we accept you.
​Your community fee secures your spot
Once accepted, the $365 community fee locks in your place. It’s non-refundable once your place is confirmed, unless we cancel the trip. The lodge stay ($1,285 per person, twin share) is paid directly to the lodge: a $771 deposit at booking, which is non-refundable, and the $514 balance due 15 days before departure, non-refundable once paid. ​Travel insurance is compulsory
You need a minimum of US$100,000 for emergency medical treatment and evacuation, plus repatriation, and your policy must cover remote areas and water activities like river boat trips and swimming. Send us proof at least 14 days before departure.
​Is this trip for you?
It’s active and remote. You fly to Canaima in a small plane with strict luggage limits (details once you’re accepted), spend several hours in motorized river canoes, and hike for a few hours on uneven, wet ground to the Angel Falls viewpoint. Swimming is optional. The night facing the falls is at a basic jungle camp. Canaima has no road access, so medical care is limited and any evacuation is by air. If a health condition could affect any of this, we ask you to connect with your medical provider prior to applying.
